The DRYAD project participated in the Congress of Agri-Food Economics, organised by the Spanish Association of Agri-Food Economics (AEEA), held from September 3–5, 2025, at the University of Granada. The event’s theme was “Providing solutions in times of change through agri-food and environmental economics.”
Represented by Yara Shennan Farpón from Icatalist, DRYAD’s presentation highlighted its efforts to promote climate adaptation in Mediterranean regions using Nature-based Solutions (NbS). The project focuses on addressing challenges faced by Mediterranean agro-silvo-pastoral ecosystems (MAEs) through an integrated and collaborative approach that combines scientific research, technology, and social innovation.
Preliminary results from stakeholder engagement activities in Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Greece were shared, exploring local perceptions and the feasibility of 14 tailored NbS.
DRYAD’s participation demonstrates its commitment to advancing knowledge exchange and sustainable climate resilience strategies in Mediterranean Ecosystems.
