On April 3rd, Javier Samper, DRYAD Project Coordinator, had the opportunity to present the project at a seminar hosted by CICA (Interdisciplinary Center for Chemistry and Biology.) at the University of A Coruña (UDC).
The seminar, titled “Demonstrating Nature-Based Solutions to Enhance the Resilience of Mediterranean Agro-Silvo-Pastoral Ecosystems and Landscapes: The DRYAD Project,” highlighted the innovative approaches the project is pioneering to improve the resilience of Mediterranean agro-silvo-pastoral ecosystems.
Javier’s presentation explored how nature-based solutions are essential for enhancing the sustainability of landscapes impacted by climate change and land degradation. He shared insights into how the DRYAD Project is working to strengthen the resilience of Mediterranean regions, with a special focus on the unique Dehesa landscapes.
We are grateful to CICA and the University of A Coruña for hosting this engaging event and for encouraging valuable discussions about the future of sustainable landscapes.
