From 22–24 June 2026, the DRYAD Project participated in the 8th Annual Congress of the The Research Network on Economic Experiments for the CommonAgricultural Policy (REECAP), held in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

The REECAP Congress is an annual meeting that brings together researchers, policy makers, and practitioners working at the intersection of agricultural policy and economic experimentation. Its aim is to strengthen the European research community engaged in the evaluation and improvement of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), while fostering dialogue on innovative approaches to policy design, implementation, and assessment. This year’s edition was hosted at the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana, gathering an international audience working on behavioural and experimental approaches in agricultural economics.

Within this context, the DRYAD Project contributed to the scientific programme through the presentation of recent research findings. Anastasio Villanueva from IFAPA, presented results from the DRYAD survey carried out in April 2025.

The presentation, titled “Farmers’ Preferences for Nature-Based Solutions in Mediterranean Agroforestry Systems: A Best-Worst Scaling Approach,” focused on understanding stakeholder preferences for nature-based solutions in agro-silvo-pastoral systems. The study drew on 191 valid responses, offering robust evidence on farmers’ priorities regarding different nature-based solutions in Mediterranean agroforestry contexts.
